The Cote rotie & St Joseph vineyards

The Cote rotie & St Joseph vineyards have been created by the Gaulois Allobroges then developped ans shaped in terraces, the cote ro vineyards cover almost 230 hectares an produce one of the topest wine of France.Powerfull and full-body tast, its bouquet ages very well. It is basicly made with Shiraz (80%)for red grape and Viognier (20%) for white grape.

Regarding St Joseph vineyards, it streches over 1000 hectares. This red wine is made with main grape shiraz (10% of Roussanne and Marsanne added). Delicate, fruity with flowery aromas, the wine is very pleasant with red meat or game. Some good restaurants provide a regional wine selection. All dishes are designed to highlight the local product.

Regarding place to sleep, our approved guest establishments maintain a welcoming code. They provide a direct link with the wine producers. We can give helpful information regarding other wine-producing establishments, wine cellars and heritage sites operating under the same quality mark scheme. We can also organize visits to major wine producers.

They offer warm welcome and present a showcase of the following famous brands : cote rotie, condrieu, saint joseph. Open from Easter to All Saints. The visit includes wine tasting with commentary which may be free or chargeable. There is no obligation to purchase wine.

This area forms the gatewateway to the Rhone Valley, at only 30mn from the city center of Lyon. Overlooking the Rhone river, on the gently sloping countryside of Pilat natural park.

L'Aire naturelle de Camping Les Cerisiers est un lieu de vilégiature unique situé à 15mn de ce lieu. N'hésitez pas à nous demander les renseignements nécessaires pour agrémenter votre visite. Notre camping possède toutes les informations touristiques de la région et vous donnera les idées qu'il vous anque pour compléter agréablement votre séjour.

Qui sait ? Les premières cerises seront peut-être déjà là, les premiers légumes frais prêt à manger. Une chose est certaine les oeufs frais de la basse-cour de notre ferme et les jus de pomme aromatisés vous attendent déjà !
